Moisturizing Body Butter - Jojoba & Tamanu

A beautiful rich and nourishing body butter packed with vitamin rich oils and butters. Our body butter contains organic jojoba oil, calendula oil, tamanu oil, hemp seed oil and infused green tea oil, with the refreshing fragrance of lemongrass and cedarwood essential oils.

Organic Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) is rich in nourishing vitamins A, E, and D, plus antioxidants and fatty acids. Jojoba oil has remarkably similar properties to our skin’s own sebum. This means that it is able to penetrate deeply, reaching below the top layer of skin for maximum nourishment. Jojoba is also naturally antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory.

Natural cold-pressed Tamanu Oil (Calophyllum inophyllum) is derived from the seeds of the tamanu nut tree, a tropical evergreen native to Southeast Asia. It is rich in fatty acids and offers antioxidant protection – protecting skin from damaging (and aging) free radicals caused by exposure to environmental factors such as sun and pollution.

Tamanu oil is anti-inflammatory, offering relief to those with red and sensitive skin. It also contains powerful wound healing and skin regeneration properties and has been shown to reduce scarring.

The addition of calendula oil adds further help to promote cell repair and contains anti-inflammatory properties.

Hemp seed oil is extremely nourishing and the addition of green tea oil, rich in antioxidants, which protect the skin from damage caused by UV radiation and free radicals from the environment.

Lemongrass has purifying properties which make it perfect for skincare. These properties help to remove impurities, detoxify the skin and leave it feeling clean and clear. Cedarwood is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial and has been shown to alleviate skin irritations and dryness.
